Taho or Silken Tofu in Caramelized Sugar with Tapioca Pearls is a Filipino snack/breakfast and comfort food. This is an Asian dessert/snack that originated from China. It also goes in different names like Tauhue in Indonesia and Taufufah in Malaysia. This is often sold by street vendors in the morning in time for breakfast.
Taho is made out of (hot) Silken Tofu which is mixed with Caramel (arnibal). Sweetened Tapioca Pearls are also added for texture. To make it special, sweetened jackfruit can also be added.
