A little more than six months ago, my children were into rocketships and rocketpacks. Anything that has these will make them so happy. We all know that toys aren’t cheap and kids change interests in a snap. So I had to figure out a way to make these things for them and not hurt our wallets. Here is what we did (with some ideas from the Internet of course!)
I found many samples of rocketpacks online and here’s my take on it.
These rocketpacks are made of soda bottles, paint and tissue papers.
The soda bottles were spray painted for uniformity. The garters used to sling it to the shoulder are from old pajamas which I cut in half and glued to the bottles.
These rocketships are made of soda bottles, aluminum foil, plastic cups, recycled cardboard and cutout wallpaper remnants.
SPACECRAFT / LIFE SIZE ROCKETSHIP
This is made out of a huge box. I got the inspiration from this picture from flickr:
With silver paint and some cutout designs from the internet, my children are now enjoying their life size rocketship.
